    1. The booking nightmare

      The Cat Hotel in Linden, Johannesburg outgrows pen and paper. A boutique-hotel system almost fits, and the pet software on the market fits worse.

    2. Building our own

      Frustrated with inflexible tools and cluttered dashboards, the family starts building a system shaped around how the hotel actually runs.

    3. Running the whole hotel

      Bookings, deposits, reminders, staff and stock all move into Petwyse. The diary is retired.

    4. Open to every hotel

      Paul goes full time on Petwyse and adds multi-hotel support. The development team in South Africa keeps prices low for owners in the US, UK, Europe and Australia.

    Taking bookings in an afternoon.

    1. Register

      Start the trial. You become the main admin and can invite as many staff as you need.

    2. Add your hotel

      Name, address, opening hours and check-in times. Petwyse creates your dashboard.

    3. Set up units

      Create unit types such as Garden Villa or Deluxe Suite, each with its own rates and features, then add the units.

    4. Payments

      Choose your deposit percentage, bank details and invoice wording, or connect Stripe for card payments.

    5. Booking rules

      Minimum stays, food options and whether you accept pets on medication.

    6. Go live

      Add the booking link to your website and Facebook page. Requests start arriving as Pending.

    Do I need to install anything?

    No. Petwyse runs in your browser on a computer, tablet or phone. Your staff log in with their own accounts from the front desk or on the move.

    Which countries and currencies do you support?

    Petwyse is used internationally and bills in USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD and ZAR. Your hotel can show its own currency to customers, and card payments run through Stripe.

    Can I move my bookings from a diary, Excel or another system?

    Yes. On annual plans we import your customers, pets and future bookings for you. On monthly plans you can import a spreadsheet yourself, and we are a WhatsApp message away if you get stuck.

    Is my customers' data safe?

    Data is encrypted in transit, backed up automatically and handled under our privacy policy, which follows GDPR principles. You stay the owner of your customer data and can export it at any time.

    What comes with the free website?

    Every plan includes a website designed and hosted by Destiny Digital, an onsite SEO audit and a strategy session. Your booking form connects straight to Petwyse. Grooming bookings with Jet Appointments and email marketing with FluentCRM can be added to the same site.

    We run a large group or several sites. Can Petwyse handle that?

    Yes, on a custom plan. Petwyse already supports multiple hotels under one login, and we can build features around how your business works. Message us for a quote.

    Does it work for dogs as well as cats?

    Yes. Petwyse runs a cat hotel, but units, rates and booking rules work for kennels, mixed boarding and daycare too.

    What happens after the 30-day trial?

    Pick a plan and keep everything you set up. If you do not subscribe, your account pauses. We never take a card during the trial.
